HUDSON RIVER PAGEANT – PUPPET & COSTUME WORKSHOPS: MARCH – MAY

FREE – (Adults & Teens)
Workshops engage community participants to learn about the diversity of species and habitats of the Hudson River, and then create spectacular giant puppet and costumes representing the marine life of the Hudson River estuary. Participants work with Earth Celebrations’ artists-in-residence, Lucrecia Novoa to create paper-mache puppets and masks, and with ecological artist, Michele Brody, on a series of river species costumes, made from natural and living materials.
Workshops culminate in The Hudson River Pageant to restore the Hudson River and address climate change, on Sat May 12th (raindate; Sun. May 13th).
